WARISAN: Malaysian Heritage Objects, Drawn as Lamps
WARISAN is our heritage collection: three lamps drawn from Malaysian objects you know on sight. Warisan means heritage, and unlike our other collections, which abstract their sources until they are pure geometry, this one holds the source literally. You can tell what each lamp is from across the room.

About the collection
GASING is the spinning top, the game played and competed in across the peninsula, seated point-down in a graphite dock that charges it. PAM is the lampu pam, the brass pressure lantern that lit the pasar malam and the kampung kenduri, with its gauge, pump knob, chimney and carry handle. TUDUNG is the tudung saji, the woven food cover of the Malaysian dining table, resting on a brass dulang tray, with a diamond weave that glows when it is lit.
We draw these objects with clean geometry and flat colour: brass, red, bone and wood tones, with no imitation of wear or handcraft texture. The point isn't to reproduce an antique. It is to make an everyday object from Malaysian homes into something you would put on a table and switch on.
WARISAN is made for gathering: Raya open houses, kenduri, wedding gifts, the dining table. GASING is cordless and fits anywhere. PAM is a wired lantern for a shelf or a table. TUDUNG is our statement piece, and the first of the twelve to be taken from concept to a printable model.
